The Red Cross blood drive last Thursday fell short of donors collecting 49 units of the 68-unit goal.
The Cornhusker State Games (CSG) Torch Run kicked off Monday with runners from 11 Nebraska panhandle counties running at least one mile in their county and submitting a photo.
While schools may be out, graduated athletes will remain busy for the next several week’s with all-star games.

Graduation at Chase County Schools ended high school careers for the Class of 2021. Commencement exercises Saturday afternoon drew a gym full of people as 34 members of the class were recognized.
