All-star games begin Friday

While schools may be out, graduated athletes will remain busy for the next several week’s with all-star games.
Friday’s CSO All-Star Game at Cambridge has rosters full of familiar faces.
The girls’ game will feature Zoey Boos, Haylee Sandman and Payton Yearous from Wauneta-Palisade, Alexis Richmond from Chase County and Riley Huff and Danielle Burge from Perkins County.
On the boys’ side, WP’s Braxton McKinney will team up with Chase County’s Cedric Maxwell and Mason Nordhausen, plus Tanner Finley of Wallace.
Though North Platte Community College’s annual game has been canceled, several more are still on the calendar.
Area athletes will play in the West Nebraska All-Star football and volleyball games June 12 in Scottsbluff, New West All-Star Classic basketball and volleyball games June 18 in Minden and the Wild West All-Star Classic June 27 in McCook.
