Veteran’s Day, a family’s history revisited

Leroy Grams, a local retired farmer, is proud of his family’s history and their generational service to their country. He is referred to by some as the family genealogist and for good reason.

A 2017 Hyundai SUV was totalled in an accident near Enders early Monday morning. Mitzi Stroyek of Hastings and Beau Burkhalter, the driver of the semi where both transported to the Chase County Community Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.

Area emergency services respond to head-on injury accident on Hwy 6

On Nov. 6 at 8:56 a.m., the Chase County Sheriff’s Office, Imperial Fire Department and Chase County EMS responded to an injury accident at mile marker 33 on Hwy. 6.
