CCS boys run away with Dundy County Stratton Twilight

    The Chase County boys’ track team came off strong performances at the Best of the Midwest May 2 and went on to dominate the competition at the Dundy County Stratton Twilight Friday.

Imperial Legion baseball team members, coaches and other volunteers had a busy day Saturday putting in the new warning track around the entire baseball field. It’s one of the improvements being done ahead of the state tournament Imperial is hosting in July.

It was a day of teamwork, literally, as coaches, players and other volunteers moved new dirt onto the field for the new warning track at Campbell Field.

State baseball tournament prep making progress

Work is well underway and will continue on improvements to Campbell Park, home of the Pinnacle Bank Horns Legion baseball teams.
