The 2018 Chase County Fair added a new event, the Heartland Puller Series Tractor Pull, which proved to be a popular addition. It’s returning this year, but will be in the Thursday, Aug. 15, 6 p.m. time slot. The demolition derby will be held Sunday afternoon this year. Efforts toward making the Chase County Veterans Memorial a part of the community have been in the works for awhile. But it is now becoming a reality.
Special early bird fair ticket deal ends July 31
Fans of country singer Josh Turner and special guest Shenandoah, who’ll perform Aug. 17 at the Chase County Fair, have just a few more days to buy tickets at a $5 discount.
