Last Thursday’s American Red Cross blood drive was very successful, according to Angie Paisley, Chase County Schools’ nurse and CCS blood drive coordinator.
Richard L. Moore, 67, formerly of Wallace, was sentenced Jan. 13 in Lincoln by United States District Judge John M. Gerrard for production of child pornography.

Crossroads Wesleyan Church Food Pantry is celebrating one year of monthly distribution of Heartland pantry foods to families in the area. The next pantry is this Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Crossroads Wesleyan Church, in conjunction with the Food Bank for the Heartland, began a food pantry ministry distributing free food to the community in February 2021.
