Bryn McNair was one of two competitors to clear 5’6” in Class C high jump in Omaha. McNair made 5’8” on her second attempt, setting a school record while winning Class C and the All-Class gold medal.

Jerzee Milner placed fifth in the 100-meter dash for Chase County. Milner also placed third in the 100-meter hurdles and anchored the fifth place 400-meter relay team.
At a meet that celebrated multi-year, four-gold winning athletes, it was the Chase County girls’ track teams’ depth that gave it a third consecutive state championship last weekend.
Wauneta-Palisade’s Peyton Cox snuck into Friday and Saturday’s Class D State Championships as an additional qualifier.
