Chase County Schools (CCS) freshmen Ella Schoenholz, Aurora Griebel and Carleigh Lewis competed as a team the first weekend of February in a STEM competition with more than 300 other students.

Six speakers gave presentations, with the lone medal-winner being junior Tegan Towns.

Veteran Tegan Towns took second place in the poetry division.

Twelve CCS students traveled to North Platte to be part of 150 area students performing with Sing Around Nebraska.
