Poppes team up with Staffords to win gusty 2-Couples Tournament

    Enders Lake Golf Course wrapped up its summer tournament schedule with a windy 2-Couples Tournament Sunday.
    Craig and Evonne Poppe with Derek and Jen Stafford shot rounds of 30 and 33 to finish two strokes ahead of second place.
    The team of Jones and Hagan was second with a final score of 65. Two teams tied for third with 68s, Kramer, Einspahr and Einspahr, as well as Thorne, Northcutt and Velder.
    Eighteen teams took part in the tournament.
