Kylee Wiest knocks this kill over early in the first set against the Gothenburg Swedes.

Lady Longhorns fall to Swedes in four sets

Head coach Kristi McNair acknowledged that Gothenburg has a really good program. The Swedes came into Horns territory with a record of 19-1 with their only loss coming to undefeated Minden.
The Lady Longhorns played hard throughout the night but fell to the Swedes in four sets.
Gothenburg started strong and never let up winning the first two sets, 13-25 and 12-25.
The Longhorns never gave up and came back hungry in the third set, taking the win 25-23. Coach McNair was pleased that her team could get a set away from the Swedes saying “that was a huge accomplishment”.
Unfortunately it seemed to inspire the Swedes to finish the match which they did winning the next set 14-25 and closing out the match.
