Denker claims ELGC Men’s Club Open Handicap Tournament by five strokes

    Beau Kramer shot a 68 to take the Mens’ Club Open Handicap Tournament played Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Enders Lake Golf Course.
    Kramer shot rounds of 41 and 39 with a handicap of 12 strokes.
    Ben Brophy, Jim Knotwell and Matt Klima tied for second with final scores of 73.
    Klima and Knotwell tied for Front 9 Medalists with after shooting 38.
    Joe Humphrey was the Back 9 Medalist with a score of 39.
    Jake Burke, Trevor Amen and Joe Johnston each finished within two strokes of second place.
    The 18-hole tourney was open to members with an established USGA handicap.
    After two rounds of golf, scores were adjusted for the golfer’s course handicap.
    Results of the tournament follow with the top placings showing the 18-hole score minus the handicap for the net score.
