Sydow awarded SWPPD Frank and Betty Potthoff Memorial Scholarship

Southwest Public Power District has announced Andrew Sydow as the first annual winner of the Frank and Betty Potthoff Memorial Scholarship on behalf of the Potthoff family.
Sydow is attending Northeast Community College and enrolled in their Utility Line Program to become a lineman. He is completing his summer internship program at SWPPD in Palisade and will return to finish classes this fall.
He applied for the newly formed scholarship this summer which was announced by SWPPD and the Potthoff family to help local students in southwest Nebraska with tuition in a Nebraska college lineman program.
