Phyllis Mock’s piano, guitar students present recital

    Phyllis Mock’s piano and guitar students gave a recital Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church titled “Here Comes Treble.”
    Parents, grandparents and friends listened to the following students perform— Hayden, Hadley and Henley Worth, Peyton Banks, Loralie, Bernadette and Veda Greene, Mercedes Sorensen, Harvey and Eliza Fanning, Avery, Andy and Shane Jantz, Zoey Kelley, Forest, Oliver and Hunter Greene, Jason and Taylor Fortkamp, Drew and Sophie Fortkamp and Maria, John and Joel Adle.
    Unable to attend were Avery and Porter Cyboron.
    Some of the selections performed included The Star Spangled Banner, Voices in Unison, Spare Change, Bell Tower, Can Can, Surprise Symphony, Country Cowboy, The Entertainer, In the Hall of the Mountain King, Country Gardens, The B-I-B-L-E, Mountain Drums, Beat It, Sakura, Atlas, Star Wars, Hava Nagila, At the Hop, Reunited, Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Prelude in C and Amarillo By Morning.
    A reception followed with pink lemonade and homemade cookies made by Mock.
