The Eli Young Band has been booked to perform in July as headliner for the Perkins County Fair in Grant.

Eli Young Band booked for Perkins County Fair

Continuing a tradition of booking high-end entertainment, the Perkins County Fair Board has announced its musical acts for 2023.
Performing at this year’s Perkins County Fair on July 22 will be the Eli Young Band, with opening music performed by Cooper Alan.
Fair Board President Kasey Kroeker said the board is excited to be able to bring the performers to southwest Nebraska.
“The board has been working hard since the end of fair last year to scout and book another line-up of popular entertainers, and I think we have done it,” he said.
As in the past, Kroeker praised the support of generous sponsors who believe in the fair and help the board book trending entertainers who are especially popular with the younger crowd, but also offer something to the older generations.
“The last couple of years we have booked bands that really connected with the older crowd,” he said.
“This year we wanted to reach a younger group, but appeal to everyone.”
On Feb. 11, the Perkins Co. Fair Board has also lined up local favorite Tim Zach for a winter concert. Zach opened at the fair a few years ago for Whiskey Bent.
