Driver sustains minor injuries in semi rollover

Emergency personnel from Imperial were out early on Friday after a semi pulling a tanker trailer overturned between Imperial and Enders.
Driver Devin Wood, 28, of  Sterling, Colorado was heading eastbound on Highway 6/61 in a 1999 Peterbilt semi with a tanker trailer when he dropped his wheels off the roadway, said County Sheriff Kevin Mueller.
He apparently over-corrected and crossed the highway, going into the ditch where the semi rolled over, Mueller said.
The truck and trailer were a total loss in the 4:38 a.m. accident, he added.
Wood was transported to Chase County Community Hospital with minor injuries and released.
Mueller said the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department and Imperial EMS where also dispatched to the scene, which was investigated by Chief Deputy Mike Dukes.
