Eric Exum has been selected to participate in Leadership Nebraska Class XIV, a program of the NE Chamber Foundation.
Exum is Market President for Pinnacle Bank in Imperial, where he has lived since 2012.
Leadership Nebraska was founded in 2006 to identify current and emerging leaders in the state, enhance their leadership skills and deepen their knowledge about the challenges and opportunities facing Nebraska, said Bryan Slone, NE Chamber President.
The nine-month program will cover a broad range of key Nebraska issues, including economic development, workforce and education, agriculture and environment, health care, education, government and policy development.
“If we’re going to compete and win in the race for new families, talent, innovation and community development over the next five to 10 years, we need strong, informed and connected leaders to help us go the distance,” Sloan said.
After their move to Imperial and the hometown of his wife, Ashley, Exum began working for the family farm. In 2015, he was named a loan officer at Pinnacle Bank. In 2018, he was promoted to Vice President, and in July 2021, accepted the position of Market President, and oversees all day-to-day operations of the bank.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The Exums have four children. He is active in Rotary and is a board member of the Chase County Hospital Foundation.
