Elton John tribute coming to Holyoke May 9

    Music lovers are invited to enjoy an evening of memorable songs when Elton John tribute performer Jim Witter takes the stage in Holyoke, Colorado on Monday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the junior/senior high school auditorium as part of the Phillips County Arts Council concert series.
    Entertaining audiences for over 30 years, Witter thrives on engaging audiences in the liveliness and dynamic appeal of John. Audiences will see for themselves why John is one of the world’s most beloved icons with his voice, his piano virtuosity, the unmatched catalog of hit songs and his energetic performances.
    Witter’s unique approach and rapport make each concert-goer feel as though they are part of this communal performance experience.
    The catalog of John’s hits includes “Rocket Man,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me,” “Candle In The Wind” and “I’m Still Standing.”
    The audience will also get to participate in a sing-along with the best-known songs.
    For those who aren’t Phillips County Arts Council members, tickets will be available at the door. Students who are accompanied by an adult will be admitted free.
