CCS golfers 7th in first trip to Med. Valley Invite

In its first trip to Arrowhead Meadows Golf Course at Curtis, the Chase County golf team finished seventh in the Medicine Valley Invite.
CCS shot 426 as a team. Sandhills Valley won the meet with a score of 402.
Freshman Gavin Wisnieski led Longhorn golfers with a final score of 94 and his seventh place finish was the only top 15 finish for Chase County.
Nick Rau and Matt Murray each shot 109, six strokes out of a medal. Kaden Vogt finished the day at 114 and Jesse Krausnick shot a 123.

The Longhorns were at the Perkins County Invite Tuesday.
This Thursday the team will travel to the Southwest Invite at Cambridge’s Cross Creek Golf Links.
The SPVA tournament is quickly approaching, as well. The Longhorns will travel to Bridgeport April 29 to take on the conference’s finest golfers.
