IVFD respond to Imperial residence

    Imperial firefighters responded to an Imperial home last week after its residents called with oven concerns.
    Fire Chief Doug Mitchell said the department was called at 3:45 p.m. March 16 to the home of Jewel Jensen at 1739 Wesley Drive.
    He said firefighters packed up before entering the home, but found no issues. Fans were not needed. The oven was on the “clean” setting, he said.
    There was no damage to the home or oven. Firefighters were on scene 15-20 minutes.
