New manager taking helm at Pizza Hut

There’s a new face at Pizza Hut taking over the position as the new manager.
Nikki Hopkins will be filling the shoes of long-time manager Amanda Keneipp beginning next Tuesday.
Hopkins is originally from Alliance and began her career three years ago with Pizza Hut at the Alliance location as a shift manager.
“My goal was to move up with Pizza Hut because it is a good company and takes good care of us,” she said.
Hopkins has also worked at Pizza Hut in Ogallala and McCook.
“When the opportunity came open for the store manager in Imperial, I took it,” she commented.
She recently moved from McCook to Wauneta while looking for a home in Imperial.
“I’m excited to be here. Thanks to everyone who’s welcomed me with open arms,” she added.
Time for a change
Keneipp has been the manager at Imperial Pizza Hut for seven years and employed with Pizza Hut for a total of 18 years, she said.
She has also been the Dietary Manager full-time at Chase County Community Hospital since 2018.
Keneipp will be working exclusively as Dietary Manager so that she can be home more with her 8-year-old son, Quinton, she said.
“I want to do the ‘mom’ things more,” she added.
Keneipp also wants more time to spend with her spouse, Jon.
She expressed her thanks to everybody for all the support through the changes, especially the last two years, she said.
“I hope the community will support Nikki,” she continued. “I’ve had a lot of fun, but it’s time to hang up my pizza apron.”
