Area students receiving college degrees

It is always exciting to reach a major goal in life, and these area students have achieved another step along the path in their chosen careers.
The following three Chase County School graduates received or are receiving degrees from their respective colleges.
Mylee Fanning
Mylee Sorensen Fanning  will be graduating this Friday from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Bachelor of Science Degree in early childhood and family advocacy.
Fanning was a recipient of a Susan T. Buffett Foundation scholarship awarded to first-time college freshmen living in Nebraska.
She graduated from Chase County Schools in 2015, and her parents are Dana Sorensen and the late Jim Sorensen of Imperial.
Fanning is hoping to substitute teach at CCS in the future, but for now, she is taking some time off to stay at home with her 17-month-old son.
She currently lives outside of Wauneta with husband, Ross, and is a step-mom to four other children.
Hannah Meeske
Hannah Meeske is a 2020 graduate of CCS.
Her parents are Leslie Aeby and Galen Meeske, both of Imperial.
She received an Associate degree in applied science and business technology from Central Community College in Hastings Dec. 10.
She is now working at HBE CPA’s & Consultants in Lincoln.
Taylin McNair Dickey
Taylin McNair Dickey will graduate from UNK Friday with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration.
She is a 2017 graduate of CCS. Her parents are Kristi and Alex McNair of Imperial. She is married to Jeff Dickey.
McNair currently works at Barney Insurance in Kearney as a client services representative.
