Legion members recognized for 50 years of membership
Three members of the American Legion Post 304 of Wauneta were recognized with certificates for 50 years of continuous membership.
Richard Johnson of Imperial, Dennis Pfeiffer of Wauneta and Raymond Meints of McCook each have held membership in the Wauneta Legion Post for 50 years.
The American Legion issues Certificates of Continuous Membership in recognition of faithful and dedicated allegiance to the organization’s ideals. Johnson, Pfeiffer and Meints each have been in good standing with the Post continuously for 50 years, and earned the honor of being cited as outstanding contributors to the American Legion programs.
Each received a certificate signed by National Commander James W. Oxford, National Adjutant Daniel S. Wheeler, as well as local Post officers, Commander Dennis Pfeiffer and Adjutant Edward Arenz.
