After teaching at CCS for 12 years, Lisa Krutsinger will be taking a teaching position with ESU 15 in the fall.

Longtime CCS teacher pursuing new opportunity at ESU this fall

Lisa Krutsinger is currently teaching first grade at Chase County Schools (CCS), but will be pursuing a new educational position this fall.
She received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in elementary education/special education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and her Masters in early childhood education at Concordia University in Seward.
She has been at CCS for 12 years teaching kindergarten and first grade.
“I absolutely love watching my students investigate new ideas. They get so excited when they figure out how to solve a problem or share what they know,” Krutsinger said.
She went on to say how much she loves the challenge of keeping the students’ minds always thinking and learning.
“My day is always full of ideas that come from the kids and all their questions,” she added.
Krutsinger will be going to work next fall for ESU 15 (Educational Service Unit 15) as a Speech/Language teacher.
“I am very excited for the opportunity to work as a Speech/Language teacher for ESU 15,” she said.
Krutsinger and her husband, Kriss, will remain in Imperial where their youngest daughter, Delaney, is a junior at CCS.
The Krutsingers have three older children.
Breanna and her husband Ross Sueper live in Lindsay. Their son, Korey, lives in Germany and Gabrielle is a freshman at Concordia University.
“Sutton Sueper is our first grandbaby, and we adore him,” said Krutsinger.
She said she has been blessed with working with the amazing students and staff at CCS the past 12 years.
“The staff at CCS is like family to me. They are so hard working and very dedicated to the teaching profession. I am going to miss the students and staff at CCS,” Krutsinger said.
