Council meeting includes hearing, resolution on solid waste funds

The Imperial city council will meet Monday at 6 p.m. for its second meeting of March.
As of Tuesday, a number of agenda items were already on the schedule, according to Clerk/Administrator Jo Leyland.
A public hearing will be conducted for the purpose of receiving citizen comments regarding modifications to the city’s zoning regulations for home occupations. Possible action could follow on the change, Leyland said.
A resolution regarding the closure/post-closure funds  transferred from the Solid Waste Agency to City of Imperial will be addressed.
The council will also consider approval of a new life insurance policy for volunteer firefighters.
In its unfinished business, the council will consider approval of the regulatory procedure manual.
