Youngsters can take in pair of Easter Egg Hunts March 27

Not one, but two, Easter Egg Hunts are being organized for  Saturday, March 27, in Imperial and Enders.
The Imperial Lions Club will return to a hunt in Campbell Park this year, after organizing a drive-thru event in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Lions’ hunt is set for March 27, starting promptly at 1 p.m. for youths toddler age up through the second grade in four different age groups.
Nebraska Game and Parks is also organizing a hunt at Enders Lake the same day, and with a 2 p.m. start, youngsters will have plenty of time to get to both.
Hundreds of candy-filled eggs will be laid out for the Lions Easter Egg Hunt, and some of them will have quarters, 50-cent pieces and dollar coins inside, said Lions President Sheryl Curtis.
The coins are being donated by Adams Bank & Trust, Pinnacle Bank, Waypoint Bank and the Imperial Credit Union.
In case of bad weather, the Lions will hold their hunt a week later on April 3.
The hunt at Enders Lake will be conducted near the picnic shelter in the shower house and fish-cleaning area, said superintendent Beau Licking. Their hunt is for youths up through 10 years of age, he said.
Licking reminds parents a one-day or yearly park pass is required to enter the Enders Lake Recreation Area.
Youths should bring their own basket for both hunts.
