Organizations partnering on Nov. 7 food drive

The Imperial Lions Club, along with the Future Business Leaders of Nebraska (FBLA) and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapters at Chase County Schools are joining forces for a food drive for the Chase County Pantry.
Members of all three organizations will be set up at Hill’s Family Foods parking lot this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Lions Club President Sheryl Curtis said the decision was made to set up at Hill’s to give people a convenient opportunity to donate. A school trailer will be on site for collection of the donated food and paper products.
Curtis said support of the local food pantry is important with Thanksgiving just three weeks away, and the continued need in the community.
See the accompanying news story for specific items that are needed.
