Imperial Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge (FFVF) members held interviews Dec. 3 for the next spring’s trip to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.
Senior Yeraldin Almanza and junior Halle Fiedler were selected as the 80% scholarship recipients.
Almanza and Fiedler will be attending the trip along with 40% scholarship winners Austin Bernhardt, Maddie Brown, Kambree Meeske, Sydney Schilke, Lucy Spady, Jerzee Milner and Morgan Peterson.
To be considered for the trip, students had to write an essay and answer a panel of questions from local FFVF members.
This year’s essay topic was “Under what circumstances is it a duty of citizenship to challenge a law?”
Sponsors for the trip will be Jon and Lesley Nordhausen of Imperial.
The trip is scheduled for April 15-22.
