    Brothers Jesse and Lloyd Mullen, doing business as High Plains News North LLC, are the new owners of The Imperial Republican, The Grant Tribune-Sentinel and The Holyoke Enterprise.

The one-act play, “The Greek(ish) Myth of Marcyonome,” took first place at Monday’s SPVA Conference contest in North Platte. The CCS play has a large cast of nearly 30 with several other students working behind the scenes. Local performances will be held this Tuesday and Nov. 30.

One-act captures SPVA title; districts next

    For the first time in six years, Chase County Schools has captured the SPVA Conference title for one-act play competition.
