City officials learned Friday Imperial received a $562,000 state grant for development of City Square. City Square grant comes through; Imperial nets $562,000 for project

    It couldn’t have been more timely.
    On Monday, 5th and 6th graders at Chase County Schools presented a $700 check to the city to support its City Square development project.

Upgrades at Enders Lake are complete for the 2023 season, including new concrete at the Area A boat ramp. No Name Bay on the south side of the lake also has a new, two-lane concrete boat ramp and other improvements.

Upgrades complete at Enders Lake for ‘23 season

    Guests at southwest Nebraska state park areas were treated to some improvements in 2022, with more set to be completed in 2023.

Imperial FFA brings home top individual placings

    Imperial FFA garnered some top individual placings at last week’s 95th annual Nebraska FFA Convention in Lincoln, which more than 7,600 members attended.
