Poker Run headed by new mayor draws 31 riders

Saturday continued a decade-long tradition in Imperial—the 10th edition of the annual Mayor’s Poker Run. But, this year, it was also Mayor Craig Loeffler’s first Poker Run.

Shoreline areas, like Sunny Beach, above, were near capacity Tuesday on the Fourth of July, many of which were camping overnight. All electrical camping sites at Enders Lake Recreation Area were full and beaches like this one had strong use.
