Wauneta flour helps win national award
A Wauneta business has played a role in a McCook business winning a prestigious national award.
Wauneta Roller Mills supplies much of the flour used by Sehnert’s Bakery & Bieroc Café in McCook, which was named a one of this year’s America’s Classics Winners by the New York-based James Beard Foundation.
“It’s pretty nice that we deliver them flour about once a week—about a ton every week or so,” said Roller Mills co-owner Ashley Einspahr.
“Matt’s a great guy and it’s a good family. It’s a pretty great deal,” she said.
