Wauneta-Palisade to hold pair of meetings on school facilities

The Wauneta-Palisade Schools Board will hold informational meetings concerning the proposed facility upgrades and projects.
The board will meet members of the public March 28 at Palisade at 7 p.m. CT.
The public can walk through the attendance center beginning at 6 p.m. CT, with the meeting to follow in the gym.
The board will take no action at the meeting, said board president Allison Sandman.
Another meeting will be held April 4 in Wauneta. Times will be announced at a later date.
At their Feb. 3 meeting, members of WP’s board heard plans for their proposed projects to improve the schools’ facilities.
Managers from Wilkens Architecture Design Planning and BD Construction laid out their recommendations for the updates, which mostly focused on the end goal of moving all students to Wauneta.
