Wauneta Library’s summer reading program begins May 31

    The Wauneta Library will begin its summer reading program next week.
    Kids four years old to third grade can attend the program on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. beginning May 31.
    “Oceans of Possibilities” stories, crafts and games will be available through June 28.
    Donna Applegarth will read stories about the oceans and sea life.
    Crafts will be led by Cindy and Lindsay Acton.
    Youths are encouraged to check out books during their visits and will be awarded Crossroads’ gift certificates for F’reals for meeting reading goals. Kindergarten, first and second graders will receive a gift certificate for reading 10 books and third graders will earn a certificate for reading five chapter books.
