Imperial natives Nick and Tyler Talbott will perform Sunday at the Haigler Summer Music Festival.

Talbott Brothers are headlining Sunday’s Haigler Music Festival

The Haigler Summer Music Festival in the Park returns this Sunday to the tri-state area after last year’s cancellation due to Covid 19.
Area residents are invited to come to Haigler for an afternoon of music, food, drink, pie and ice cream—all happening in Haigler at the Village Park Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
The Talbott Brothers—Nick and Tyler of Portland, Oregon—will highlight this year’s festival.
Natives of Imperial, the harmony-singing siblings have earned a large and growing following for their songs with down-to-earth messages.
Billboard magazine defines their music as “captivating with haunting brotherly harmonies.”
Rolling Stone named their latest album release of “Ghost Talker” as one of the top 10 songs to hear now, and defines their music as “cinematic folk-rock for open highways, widescreen skies and the limitless reach of the American Heartland.”
Blood harmonies and sibling rivalry are evident in their songwriting with lyrics pulled from the trials of everyday life and the questions we all face.
The Talbott Brothers have toured throughout the United States, and in 2019, performed at the Bieroc Café in McCook to a standing ovation. Many of their performances can be viewed on YouTube.
Also performing at Sunday’s festival will be a local band, MT Pockets—specializing in southern rock, oldies, classic rock and country. Band members include lead vocalists Talli Heid and Trent Nelson; Ramon Starks, lead guitar; Cliff Leonhart, rhythm guitar; Rick Starks, base guitar; and Brian Shaw on drums.
This year’s festival is is an effort of the Haigler Community Foundation and tri-state community sponsors.
People attending should bring lawn chairs. Admission is free, but organizers added donations will be accepted.
