Rainbow Promise Preschool to hold summer camps beginning June 14

Fun summertime learning opportunities are available in the coming weeks at Rainbow Promise Preschool summer camps.
Each camp will last one week and have two sessions. One session will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for $55. The other will be Tuesdays and  Thursdays for $40.
Each day will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Ocean camp will be held next week, June 14-18.
    Children will learn the different animals that live in the oceans and there will be many hands-on activities for them to do.
    The second camp will be July 12-16 and will be all about camping.
    Groups will discuss things to do to keep safe, how to collect wood for fire and many other hands-on activities.
    The final camp will be Aug. 2-6 for children going to kindergarten this fall.
    Children will review things they’ve learned throughout preschool and discuss some new things they may encounter.
    Camps are not limited to children that only came to Rainbow Promise for preschool.  
    “Any child from the ages of 3-6 years of age may come,” director Jennifer Colton said.
    Each session has room for 14 students, but additional sessions may be added if there is enough interest.
