Nine teams slated to compete at library’s puzzle tourney

Lied Imperial Public Library is holding a puzzle tournament Saturday beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Twenty-eight individuals are registered for the event, divided into nine teams.
There will be two categories of puzzle construction—2-person teams completing puzzles with 300 pieces, and 4-person teams completing puzzles with 750 pieces.
The 300 piece puzzles are all identical as are the 750 piece puzzles.
The teams have until 4:30 p.m. to complete their puzzles.
The first team done in each category will win free entry into next year’s puzzle competition, as well as bragging rights, said Lisa Fortkamp, librarian.
“If no one finishes by 4:30, the team with the least number of pieces left for their puzzle will win,” she said.
