New clothing business to open with focus on plus sizes

A new retail clothing and accessory shop will be opening for business next Tuesday,
Aug. 10, at 1320 Broadway, #22, in Imperial.
It is called the Rustic Nail Boutique, owned and operated by Julie Pflum.
The store will carry clothing for children from newborn up, some boys and men’s clothing, women’s clothing to size 5X, handbags, casual shoes and jewelry.
“I wanted to give the community an additional choice of affordable clothing with a focus on plus size women’s clothes as an option for an often underdeveloped category in our local area,” Pflum said.
Pflum has 30 years experience in retail sales and is looking forward to serving customers in the community, she added.
Store hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
Saturday hours may be added in the future, she said.
During the week of the fair, store hours will be Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The store can accept cash, checks and major credit cards for purchases.
A grand opening is planned for Aug. 24.
