IVFD elects 2023 officers; Mitchell remains as chief

Doug Mitchell will continue as chief of the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department after elections last week.
Most of the other line officers were also reelected at the department’s Nov. 21 meeting.
Other officers include Brad Wheeler, 1st asst. chief; Kelsey Weiss, 2nd asst. chief; Rick Elliott, 1st lieutenant; and Greg Dannatt, 2nd lieutenant.
Business officers for 2023 include Aaron Greene, president; Marissa Smith, vice president; Dustin Harris, secretary; Jake Burke, treasurer; and Chase Rowley and Scott Wheeler, co-sargent at arms.
The IVFD will celebrate with its family Christmas party on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the fire hall.
