Grand opening business to pamper area ladies

Laurie O’s Beauty Lounge, owned and operated by Laurie Odens, is holding a grand opening Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at 661 W. 5th Street in Imperial.
Odens is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, but she and her husband decided to move to Imperial in 2019 to be closer to family.
Her husband’s brother is Kyle Odens of Imperial.
Odens will be offering haircuts and coloring at her new business, but wants to emphasize a special service.
“I am offering customized facials and chemical peels,” she added.
Facials provide nourishing and pampering of the face, she explained.
“I schedule each customer individually for a consultation to customize their skin care  regime,” Odens said.
“I have been a cosmetologist for 23 years, and I am looking forward to pampering the ladies of Imperial and the surrounding areas,” she said.
Her business will carry a skin care line called “Dermalogica,” as well as a small variety of hair products.
She will be scheduling  clientele by appointment only.

During the grand opening, there will be drawings for door prizes and a $50 customized facial, valued at $95, she said.
