FFVF student trip resuming in 2022

With the past three Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge student trip cancelled or interrupted due to COVID and weather, FFVF officers are happy to resume the educational trips for 2022.
Six students have been selected for the March 10-16 trip that will take them to the FFVF campus in Pennsylvania and a tour of Washington D.C.
FFVF President Carrie Terryberry said student interviews at CCS were conducted Dec. 8 before a panel of four judges.
Brice Vitosh, a senior, and Mason Tyerman, a sophomore, will receive 80% scholarships.
Receiving 40% scholarships include senior Emmitt Zuege and juniors Annika McDaniel, Madelynn Hanes and Keirsten Colton.
Adult sponsors who will travel with the students are Nick and Jennifer Colton.
Terryberry said now that the students are selected, the itinerary can be finalized. The group will travel first to the FFVF campus, then to the nation’s Capitol.
Terryberry said FFVF did not host its annual Christmas House this year or last, but plan to return with it next year. The Christmas House is their major fundraiser for the student trip. They also earn money by providing workers at the fair’s info booth.
