County museum’s program will feature Sinner’s heavy equipment

The Chase County Museum in Champion will be having a program Sunday that might delight a lot of fathers on Father’s Day.
Lloyd Sinner of Sinner’s Paint & Body Shop, Towing and Recovery of Wauneta will be at the museum.
Sinner will be bringing three vehicles to show how they operate.
“I am bringing a new rotator wrecker, a Model A rotator wrecker from 1929 and a rollback for hauling cars,” Sinner said.
There is a 92-year difference between the new and old rotator wrecker, so a lot has changed, he said.
His rotator tow truck, the only one between Omaha and Denver, Colorado, is one of the heaviest and largest tow trucks available.
He will be giving a talk at 1:30 p.m. and a demonstration with the new rotator truck, as well as demonstrating how an airbag lift can raise a semi box trailer fully loaded—which can weigh up to 100,000 lbs., Sinner said.
Refreshments will be provided. The museum will be open Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Although there is a designated display most Sundays during the summer, the museum portrays history for all ages with a wide array of scenes of homes and businesses depicting years gone by, equipment, clothing styles, dishes, signage, documented stories and much more.
