Come show your talent at Sunday’s music jamboree

The Chase County Ministerial Association is hosting its second Christian music jamboree of the year this Sunday at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, 740 Broadway.
The jamboree is for anyone who wants to come perform or just listen, said Fr. Lothar Gilde, pastor at St. Patrick’s.         The music will start at 3 p.m. in the church hall.
It’s expected that several groups from local churches will take part, but the Ministerial Association also noted it will be an open mic format for anyone who wants to share their music that afternoon.
The jamboree’s intent is to bring some Christian music into the community—by the community.
A free will donation will be taken up for the Ministerial Association for its fund that helps transients or others in need in the community, Fr. Gilde said.
People with questions can call Fr. Gilde at 402-432-6544.
A supper provided by the St. Patrick’s Altar Society will be served after the music.
