CCCH, Clinics holding All Cancer Walk

It’s time for the annual cancer walk hosted by the Chase County Community Hospital and Clinics. The walk will be held in Wauneta, Saturday Oct. 7 with registration at 9 a.m. in front of the Beauty Bar.
The purpose of the event is to raise funds that are used to provide support to individuals from Chase County as well as patients who are treated here at the hospital or clinic. This financial support will help offset costs for patients who are receiving cancer treatments along with those who obtain prevention and detection services.
It is also an opportunity to recognize local cancer survivors and to honor our loved ones who have lost their battles to cancer.
This years focus is “All Cancers”. White shirts as well as multi-colored shirts will be offered along with the throwing of chalk during the race.
Many businesses in Wauneta will have specials that day.
This years walk/run promises to be a memorable morning in which colored chalk and T-Shirts will be provided to pre-registered participants.
The run/walk starts at 9:30 on a marked path throughout Wauneta. At the conclusion of the event there will be a raffle with four packages available. Participants do not have to be present to win.
If you have questions or would like to register contact Jaime Hiett at 308-882-7256 or e-mail her at JHiett@chasecountyhospital.com.
