Annual Progress Issue in next week’s issue

    Next week’s issue of The Imperial Republican will include the newspaper’s annual Progress Issue.
    Much of the Jan. 4, 2023 issue will include a review of the year’s top headlines with news photos of the past year, along with changes in the businesses in the Imperial and Wauneta communities.
    Highlighted will be new businesses, changes in ownership, business expansion and location changes if they are in brick-and-mortar buildings. Businesses operating from homes or residential locations are not included.
    Also pictured will be new homes finished the past year.
    In addition, the special section will include messages from community leaders, births, deaths and engagements/weddings recorded in this newspaper in 2022, library memorial books purchased and other news of interest as the year comes to close.
    Next week’s issue will also include many New Year’s messages from advertisers.
