Wilson, Smith, Cochran, Hansen win second annual Zion Lutheran tourney
Champions of Saturday’s second annual Zion Lutheran Tournament was the team of Bryce Wilson, Kayden Smith, Cody Cochran and Zaybreon Hansen.
The foursome took a one-stroke win, 61-62, over last year’s winning team, Jason and Heidi Anderson and Corey and Leslie Nordhausen.
Third place was a two-way tie between Derek Stafford, Jen Stafford, Jeff Skeels and Wendi Skeels with Bill Brophy, Rhonda Smith, Craig Nelson and Elaine Nelson. Each team shot 66.
Rounding out the championship flight was Lori Sis, Cathy Schilke, Kerry Shinn and Dwight Rowley with a final score of 69.
Eighteen teams were at play in the tournament. All proceeds of this tournament and auctions will go towards the addition being built at the Zion Lutheran Church in Imperial.
