Track and golf seasons begin soon for WP, Chase County

Area athletes are working hard and events will be kicking off soon.
The High Plains News Spring Sports Preview will be inserted in next week’s Imperial Republican.
Wauneta-Palisade’s first track meet will be April 1 at the Sutherland Invite, which WP will follow up with the Dundy County Stratton Invite on April 4.
For Chase County, the Longhorns will be at the Perkins County triangular Thursday with the Plainsmen and Potter-Dix.
On April 1, the Longhorns will be at Ogallala.
The Chase County golf team’s first invite will be at DCS April 4.
