Legion baseball opens on road May 25

The Imperial Legion Juniors and Seniors will play their first games of the season May 25 at Gothenburg.
Home town fans will get their first chance to see the Horns in action the following night when Cambridge makes the trip to Imperial.
Games both nights will start at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Imperial will also host Lexington, Holdrege and McCook before June rolls around.
Action will continue hot and heavy through July as both teams try to duplicate last season’s success and make the trip to state.
Junior districts will be held July 8-13 in Imperial. The state tournament will be July 16-20 at Creighton.
Districts for the Senior team will be July 22-27 at Gordon-Rushville. The state tournament will be July 30-Aug. 3 in Wisner.
