Peterson places first at state level for Patriot’s Pen essay

    Morgan Peterson of Imperial has placed first at the state level in Nebraska for her Patriot’s Pen essay “America’s Gift to my Generation.”

Thirty-two puzzle enthusiasts compete in annual tourney

    In a celebration of National Puzzle Day, an annual Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament was held Jan. 27 at Lied Imperial Public Library, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
