A proposed ordinance that would allow legal operation of golf carts and utility-type vehicles (UTVs) on city streets jumped through its first hurdle Monday night.
Joel DaMoude, 18, of Imperial and a recent Chase County High School graduate, was involved in a one-vehicle rollover accident late Monday morning, five miles southeast of Grant.
