Pair of injured raptors found after storm

    A juvenile white-tailed kite is on the road to recovery after sustaining injuries in the Sept. 11 hailstorm that pummeled Imperial, its rural areas and parts of other counties.

Could city, county be headed for mediation?

    Mediation could well be the next step in trying to solve the conflict between the City of Imperial and Chase County.

Veterans Memorial nearing completion

    It’s been a long road since the conception of a veterans memorial in Chase County became a reality.
    Nevertheless, it is close to completion.
